Ours are cut from K9 crystal, faceted glass and natural rock crystal, suspended from brushed brass, bronze and polished nickel frames - fixtures that throw light across a ceiling instead of simply filling a room. Modern crystal chandeliers
If your rooms read clean rather than classical, start with the modern and contemporary designs: linear bars above a dining table, sculptural rings in a stairwell, and minimalist drops that keep the sparkle and lose the ornament.
Crystal chandeliers for the dining room
Over a table, hang the fixture 30 to 36 inches above the surface and choose a width around half to two thirds of the table width. A rectangular or linear crystal chandelier suits a long table; a round silhouette suits a round one.
Small crystal chandeliers
Powder rooms, entry halls, walk-in closets and bedside corners rarely need a full-scale fixture. The small and mini crystal chandeliers here come in under 20 inches wide and use the same crystal as the large pieces.
